North Georgia United Methodists are invited to take part in the 2-day Civil Rights Heritage Tour, March 4-5, 2023. The trip with the SCLC Women includes stops in Birmingham, Marion, Whitehall, Montgomery, and Selma. This tour traces the lead-up to the 1965 Voting Rights Act and concludes with the annual commemorative march across the bridge in Selma.

"Many of the places we visit on the tour can be visited on your own. However, the benefit of going with the SCLC WOMEN is that you get first-person accounts from people who were there and whose personal stories will prove to be memorable," said Rev. Brian Tillman.

The cost is $350 for a shared double occupancy room or $475 for a single room. All transportation, admissions, and meals are covered in the price.
