On Saturday, November 18 the North Georgia Commission on Native American Ministries (CONAM) will be hosting a Fall Festival at the White Oak Methodist Campground in Appling, Georgia.  This event is being held on the eastern side of the Conference and the Spring Gathering will be held on the northwest side of the Conference to give everyone an opportunity to experience the diversity of our Conference including our varied Native American population. We are many tribes but one people. We hope both non-Native and Native peoples will join us and enjoy the native dancers and singers, a time of worship and story-telling, as well as fellowship and lunch.  There will be a job description hand-out for each local church’s Native American Representative.  An offering will be taken for our North Georgia Methodist Native American Scholarship Fund.  Our gift to those attending will be lunch at no charge. Please join us to learn more about our ministry with Native Americans in North Georgia.
We do ask you to make a reservation to help in planning for the number of meals that will be needed.
