Good Morning Ladies,

Let us continue to keep our front line responders lifted up in whatever ways we can and most importantly PRAYER not only for them but our world as well.

Tryphenia received an email observation/request from Kae Brown and we're passing it on to you to distribute among units/circles in your district that may have collected the N95 masks for UMCOR Cleaning Buckets.  Please note request and contact information below that appeared on a FB post this morning as well as the request from Tryphenia.

"Disaster Response ministries across our North Georgia United Methodist Conference stand ready to serve in times of need, and this time is no exception. This week we deployed 2,500 N95 masks from our Disaster Response Warehouse to GEMA to be delivered to regional hospitals:"

Hoping this included the ones collected by UMW units across our conference.  If not, can we notify them to get them to the Atlanta Warehouse?  Here's Dr. Redmond's email if you need it:

Due to travel restrictions, those who may have collected supplies for the cleaning kits are encouraged to donate the MASK to the closest medical facility, EMS or other health providers as they're in need of mask. With the shelter-in place and nonessential travel  restrictions  in  a lot of areas it maybe not be easy to get them to a GEMA locations.

Prayer is the key, let us continue to be safe and healthy!

United Methodist Women

According to paragraph 256.5 of the 2016 Discipline, "In every local church there shall be an organized unit of United Methodist Women."

The LaGrange District has an active group of ladies involved in UMW; however, they are always looking to expand.  If your church does not have an organized UMW group, please contact the District Office for information on contacting one of the district officers listed below.
