Disaster Recovery Volunteer

We are currently assisting disaster survivors with unmet needs and inability to rebuild in the 7 county area from Troup County to Spalding County vicinity. Due to the generosity of an UMCOR grant we have case managers and construction coordinators who help us help these neighbors in need.

We currently need individuals and groups to help with an ongoing variety of construction projects as the generosity of church and partner groups helps us bring material costs down and add to the savings with volunteer labor.

Some of the types of volunteer jobs on projects might be:

  • carpentry
  • roofing
  • siding
  • sheetrock
  • flooring

Or if you or your organization have trades skills, or can share gifts in kind, we'll certainly have many opportunities as we assist many elderly and special needs situations.

For more information please fill out the registration form below or contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Dr. Stephen Redmond, at redmond09@aol.com to match up your skills and availability with disaster survivor needs.
