Simpsonwood Board Sets Closing Date for Retreat Center

The Simpsonwood Conference and Retreat Center Board of Directors has announced that November 30, 2014, will be the last day of operation for the Simpsonwood Conference and Retreat Center, ending more than 40 years as a retreat ministry of the North Georgia Annual Conference. Lora Petersheim always will remember the baby that broke her heart and helped her overcome fear of becoming a foster parent. A nurse, she was taking care of two babies in a neonatal intensive care unit.
