Today Bishop Sue Haupert-Johnson begins her four-year term as episcopal leader of the North Georgia Conference.  "We are very happy to welcome our new Bishop to the United Methodist Center on her first official day as our episcopal leader," said Rev. The Service of Installation of Bishop Sue Haupert-Johnson as episcopal leader of the North Georgia Conference will be held Sunday, September 18, at 4 p.m. at Peachtree Road UMC in Atlanta. Bishop B. Michael Watson has announced three cabinet-level appointments. The appointments will be effective in June 2016 along with other clergy appointments.  Rev. Herzen Andone will be appointed Director of Connectional Ministries. Andone is currently serving as District Superintendent of the Northwest District. He follows Rev. Judy Bush Named Next Administrative Assistant to the Bishop

Bishop Mike Watson announced this week that he has selected Judy Bush as the next administrative assistant to the bishop, filling the position held by Chris Selleck who will retire in June. Bush will begin May 1.  Bush has served in the North Georgia Conference office for five years.
