County Line UMC, Ellenwood, Establishes GED Program

Dr. Betty Jones, senior pastor of County Line UMC in Ellenwood, reports that the church's GED program has been approved and is now listed on the National Literacy Directory. The program officially began on January 13, 2016, and will run in 18-week increments. Classes are currently offered on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9 p.m. led by professional committed staff and dedicated church members. Registration for the program is ongoing. Watkinsville FIrst UMC spent the last Sunday in 2015 holding a special service -- "Worship Through Service" to be exact.
