Mark Beeson and Marcia McFee Among Speakers at Georgia Pastors' School

Georgia Pastors School is a place for pastors to receive inspiration, education, and fellowship with UMC clergy from North and South Georgia Conferences. During this family-oriented event you can enjoy quality family time and earn those much needed Continuing Education Unites (CEUs). Childcare is provided for the wee little ones and programs for children and youth during the school.

The focus of our school this year is Worship. We are proud to host Dr. Mark Beeson as our featured preacher at our worship services and Dr. Marcia McFee as our faculty lecturer during our morning sessions. Dr. Beeson is the founder of Granger Community Church in Granger, IN. He is a gifted preacher and a real role model for us preachers in the trenches. Check out his blog at

Dr. Marcia McFee is no stranger to us in the North Georgia Conference having led many workshops in our Conference over the past several years. She was the worship designer for the General Conference 2008 and 2012. A creative, versatile worship designer, she is gifted in design in both traditional and contemporary settings. She promises all the lectures will be hands-on, practical demonstrations of how various worship services are done creatively.  In particular this year we have asked her focus on the services of remembering your baptism, communion, healing and recommitment.
