8/6/2015

Impact UMC has secured five accomplished speakers for its powerful 4D Leadership Conference, which is set for Tuesday, September 15, with an encore presentation on Wednesday, September 16 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Rev. David Walters, the founder and Lead Pastor of The Vine, a fast-growing, multi-site United Methodist Church, will present relevant discussions regarding business, ministry and education, along with other nationally recognized leaders of entrepreneurship and social change including Charmaine Ward, Michelle Nunn, Romal Tune and Tashion Macon.

“We are excited to host these inspiring speakers,” says Olu Brown, the 4D Conference founder and lead pastor of Impact. “These leaders are making meaningful impacts in the lives of individuals and communities, and their insight encourages us all to make the most of our own gifts and capabilities.”

Along with Walters, each presenter holds a diverse collection of wisdom and experience, and has blazed a trail of success in her or his field. Tashion Macon, PhD, MBA, is a former marketing executive for multi-platinum artists and the founder of strut AGENCY, a leading communications company. Community strategist, educational consultant and author, Romal Tune has travelled the world moving individuals from setbacks to success. Michelle Nunn is the co-founder of Hands On Atlanta, which has grown into a large organization with an international network that completes more than 20,000 projects each month. Additionally, Charmaine Ward is the co-founder and executive coach for Coaching Catalyst who continually leads in the areas of corporate philanthropy, community affairs, diversity, marketing and sales.

The speakers will share their knowledge and expertise on topics high on the list of every leader: marketing for your audience, connecting with community, attracting volunteers and planting new churches and other organizations.

Registration is now open for the conference. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and includes breakfast, lunch and networking opportunities.
