Peachtree City United Methodist Church will conduct its annual UMCOR cleaning bucket (formerly flood bucket) drive this summer from June 13 until July 11, 2010, and is inviting other churches in the North Georgia Conference to participate.
To make it easy for other conference churches to participate, Peachtree City UMC volunteers will deliver empty buckets to participating churches, and pick up the full buckets and health kits at the end of the drive.
This year’s drive has expanded to include UMCOR health kits due to the increased need to support Haiti recovery efforts. You can donate either cleaning buckets, health kits, or both.
The 5-gallon empty buckets will cost $3.75 each. Participating churches will need to submit an order and payment by May 17, 2010. The supplies in the cleaning buckets cost approximately $55.
