As a part of our conference’s laity stewardship ministry, the North Georgia Conference Board of Laity is looking for volunteers to serve as the receptionist at the United Methodist Center on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The United Methodist Center is located on the campus of The Lodge at Simpsonwood at 4511 Jones Bridge Road, Norcross, GA 30092.
Volunteer duties include answering incoming phone calls and directing United Methodist Center visitors to their correct destination.
The Conference Board of Laity has been coordinating volunteer receptionists since the beginning of June. Graciously, Simpsonwood and Mt. Carmel United Methodist Churches have supplied many volunteers; however, more volunteers are needed.
This volunteer ministry is a great opportunity for a seminary student, retired clergy/clergy spouse, college student, or anyone that would enjoy the friendly atmosphere and pleasant working conditions at the United Methodist Center.
If you are interested in serving for both days, only one day, or even a half day, we are happy to have you.
