Do you have a youth council that needs training in leadership? Do you have leaders in your youth group that need to learn more about leading? Are your youth leaders interested in serving beyond the local church?

Developing youth into the leaders they are called to be is the objective of YL2L (Youth Learning to Lead).

Leadership is a learned skill. At this annual event, the tools needed for leading are explored and taught to youth who can provide insight and enthusiasm today and will continue to lead the church into the future.

Plan on joining us for YL2L, Youth Learning to Lead, June 24-26, 2011 at Young Harris College. During the weekend, we will explore a variety of topics related to being a leader in the church such as  knowing ourselves, knowing God,  knowing the United Methodist Church, knowing what it takes to lead and knowing how to be a servant leader. YL2L is staffed by the youth and adults of the Conference Council on Youth Ministry.

This is a great opportunity for the leaders in your youth group—or the potential leaders—to be inspired. The beautiful setting of the mountains surround Young Harris College is our backdrop for this event. Do not miss this chance to help develop the leaders in your youth group.
