Martha Forrest Scholarship Endowment Benefits Methodist Students

 A new eductation endowment established to honor Martha Forrest, a retired North Georgia District Superintendent and pastor, will benefit United Methodist students, churches, and UM-related schools.

The purpose of the scholarship endowment is to provide matching support for United Methodist students attending UM-related schools in Georgia. Martha Forrest Scholarships will be matched by the Higher Education Foundation, the participating United Methodist-related schools, and the student's local church. 

Funds for the endowment will be invested at the Georgia United Methodist Foundation and will be administered at the United Methodist Higher Education Foundation in Nashville.  

Recipients of the scholarship will be selected by the Georgia United Methodist Foundation as part of the United Methodist Dollars for Scholars Quadruple Match.
