Ebenezer UMC of Jefferson Held A Blessing of the Back Packs on August 11th
Ebenezer held a special service the morning of August 11th to bless their hard work in collecting school supplies for kids in need. The congregation strives to make an impact in the lives of students each school year. They encourage other participants to flourish by “filling the backpacks with the Love of Christ and praying a hedge of protection around our educational system”. The church passionately supports all of those in the educational system whether in the classroom, administrators, janitorial staff, support staff, or transportation. “I pray protection for all regardless of their beliefs,” said The Reverend Tim Taylor, Pastor.

St. Andrew UMC Holds Everything for Children Consignment Sale Friday and Saturday, August 23 – 24, 2013
St. Andrew United Methodist Church of Marietta will host its Fall 2013 Everything for Children Consignment Sale on Friday, August 23 from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Saturday, August 24 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Saturday is Half Price Day. The sale will include a Boutique section, where shoppers can purchase unique, one-of-a-kind items. The sale will feature items such as: fall and winter clothing in sizes infant – 16, junior and Maternity in GREAT CONDITION, complete games and puzzles, toys, books, DVDs, CDs, and bikes in good condition, baby equipment and children’s furniture (no "drop-side" cribs will be accepted), gently worn shoes. “We have stringent quality control measures in place to ensure that items sold at our consignment sale are in excellent condition,” said Regina Haller, director of children’s ministries at St. Andrew UMC. Attend Snellville UMC’s FamilyFusion Kids Kick-Off and Opening Night Events
Vision for Families with Children at Snellville United Methodist Church is excited to start their new Sunday morning and Wednesday night Kids’ programs. FamilyFusion Kids Sunday Kick-Off is on September 15th. Kids K-5th Grade are invited to come to the 9:30AM and 11:00AM service with their parents, check in with their security system, attend the beginning of the service, and go to the KidZone Bible Lesson. The Family Fusion Wednesday Opening Night is on September 18th from 6:30PM-7:30PM. Parent Registration Night is on September 4th. The whole family is invited to attend the Wednesday night event!
