Ebenezer UMC in Jefferson Hosts Back To Church Service on September 15th
All are welcome to attend this special service at 11:00AM on September 15th. Back To Church Sunday calls to the “un-churched” or “de-churched” community so that they may return to worship. “We participate in Back to Church Sunday for many reasons.  It gives our membership a date to rally around in inviting others to come…It also gives our neighbors a no strings attached way to try out church again.  Many have been hurt in church.  Many never really felt comfortable. I pray that the floors sag and the walls bulge from the influx of people on that Sunday morning… We open our hearts to you and draw the circle wide.  We open our minds realizing everyone has a story to tell.  Won’t you come share your story with us?” said The Reverend Tim Taylor, Pastor. A survey shows that 83 percent of adult Americans claim to be Christians, yet another survey found that only 20 percent attend church. Learn more at .
