Jones Chapel Will Host the Service of the Longest Night on December 21
At this time Jones Chapel of Danielsville will observe the Service of the Longest Night at 4:00pm, a time to reach out specifically to those for whom not all of this season is light, joy and happiness. Perhaps theirs is the condition of being a surviving spouse; maybe this December finds them grieving a recent loss; the event of simply getting older that radically changes their world. Whatever the source of their feelings, the congregation seeks in this service to recognize and pray for them as the days of Christmas and Winter unfold on this, the Longest Day of the Year.
