The latest advertising campaign from The United Methodist Church invites people to join us in celebrating a new season for togetherness. It encourages people to discover new friends, a new community with meaningful connections, and a new peaceful, joy-filled outlook on life.
The messaging will reach people through digital display and video, including social media, websites, search engines, advanced television, and billboards. Advertisements will run starting this week through mid-April. Each ad directs people to one of two limited-time landing pages at UMC.org/Together and UMC.
Look for 11 UMC billboards across metro Atlanta and two in Macon.
"A previous Barna study showed that 31 percent of active churchgoers would invite someone who doesn't attend a church to accompany them to an Easter service," said Poonam Patodia, Chief Marketing Officer for United Methodist Communications, "We want to help lay a foundation of awareness about The United Methodist Church on which personal invitations and local church outreach can build upon."
The spring campaign collectively targets adults between 18 and 49 in 30 top markets including Atlanta, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Washington DC.
"We want people to join us on a journey to explore how faith impacts our lives every day," shared Jennifer Rodia, Chief Communications Officer. "We hope to help people find the community they've been longing for and support them with inspiring stories and information about ways to connect to God and with each other."

Each year United Methodist Communications implements a series of ad campaigns. These campaigns generate awareness of The United Methodist Church among those not affiliated with a church who may be looking for community with others. They serve as an invitation to connect with a local United Methodist church to experience what it offers individuals whether they choose to participate in-person or online.
