Barnabas House Opens: Counseling Center to Serve the Lincolnton Community

The Barnabas House, a community counseling ministry sponsored by four United Methodist congregations in Lincolnton (Lincolnton First, Bethany, Pine Grove and Midway), officially opened last month with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house. 

Last year, the churches were awarded a Barnes Fund grant for the purpose of establishing a community counseling center for the citizens of Lincoln County. Additionally, the churches partnered with Richmont University and the Lincoln County School System. After countless hours of hard work, preparation, and planning, Barnabas House now provides affordable, quality, certified counseling services for its community.
