More than 100 North Georgia retired pastors and spouses gathered on Dec. 11 at Oak Grove UMC for their annual Christmas luncheon.
With a theme of a "Childlike Christmas," fun decor, a photo-booth, and Advent coloring book devotionals set the tone for a day filled with laughter and friendship.
Bishop Sue Haupert-Johnson spoke, sharing a message of transformation and hope.
District Superintendent Dr. David Naglee on violin (and later on an old metal saw) and Oak Grove staff member Sandee Edmondson on piano performed Advent and Christmas music.
The luncheon was sponsored by the 12 districts and the Foundation of Wesley Woods.
