Churches across our Conference are celebrating Advent with their communities.
Living Nativity and Celebration of Lights at Bethel UMC in Stockbridge
Bethel United Methodist Church in Stockbridge is hosting a Living Nativity and Celebration of Lights this Friday, Dec. 4, Saturday, Dec. 5, from 6 to 8 pm (Lights will continue thru New Years). The community is invited to experience the peace of the Living Nativity in the stable, stroll throughout the grounds, and enjoy the beautiful Christmas trees, filled with special meanings. All are invited to join in for the "drop in singing" of the Hallelujah Chorus (feel free to bring your own book)!
Another highlight is to quietly and reverently visit the majestic Chrismon Tree in the sanctuary. As you leave this area you'll receive a craft ornament for the children along with hot chocolate and special treats to carry with you while you visit the remaining trees and enjoy a time of fellowship.
