The North Georgia Conference Center for Congregational Excellence continued its 4-part Leading Edge Learning Series in September with pastor, author, and innovator Mark DeYmaz.
The two events included a Friday night dinner and discussion on September 24 at Point First Mallalieu UMC and a day-long learning event on Saturday, September 25, at The Nett UMC's Berkmar Campus in Lilburn.
In the sessions, DeYmaz provided the biblical mandate for the multi-ethnic church and outlined seven core commitments required to bring it about. Additionally, he shared both a theological and practical vision for churches to not only survive but thrive in the future by learning to leverage assets, bless the community, empower entrepreneurs, and create multiple streams of income to fund their mission effectively.
