Moeller to Depart Action Ministries Next Month

The Board of Action Ministries has announced that president and CEO Rev. John Moeller will leave the organization next month. See a letter below to North Georgia United Methodists:
 
Dear friends,

I would like to announce that John Moeller, President & CEO of Action Ministries will be leaving the organization February 14 to accept the position of CEO of Lutheran Services of Georgia. The Board of Directors has named Kelley Henderson, the current Chief Operating Officer as the Interim President & CEO of Action Ministries.

A search committee is being formed to identify the future needs of the organization and to conduct a search for a permanent President & CEO.

I am deeply grateful to John and every member of the dynamic and compassionate Action Ministries team for the Life-Changing work they have accomplished in the six years John has led the organization. Thank you for your continued support as Action Ministries strives to accomplish its mission of leading people out of poverty in Georgia.
