Join the North Georgia Conference and Bishop Sue Haupert-Johnson for an 11-day Holy Land Journey in February 2018. You'll begin in Bethlehem with a visit to the Church of the Nativity and you'll gaze out over the Shepherds' Field where angels first proclaimed the Good News. Then you'll travel to Masada, the Dead Sea, Nazareth, Galilee, Jacob's Well, Samaria, Jerusalem and more.
"There's no way to describe walking where Jesus walked and seeing and experiencing the places that we have studied and grown to love," said Rev. Kelly Beckley who went on the trip last year. "It is truly the Bible in 3D. Seeing is believing!"
The tour, which is open to all North Georgia United Methodists, including Disciple Bible Study classes, small groups, Sunday School classes, friends or individuals, departs Feb. 5 and returns Feb. 15.
A special invitation is extended to new North Georgia Conference ordinands.
"The trip was an excellent opportunity to get to know our bishop and others who will be partners in ministry from here on out," said Beckley who was ordained the year before her trip.
