All remaining advance cost will be due in January (some expense may be paid by individuals in country rather than in advance).

As in the past, this is an incredible, immersive learning experience. While the team may do some work, the best of this comes in relationship building, in learning from the locals, and the "take home" value of the church alive in the community. It is a great opportunity to experience the connectional nature of The United Methodist Church!

Currently, Dr. Glenn Paraso, our host and coordinator in Manila, says the opportunities are most likely to be:
1) Good Samaritan UMC Faith mission - new church plant with 14 families in the urban slums beside the railroad,
2) Mary Johnston Learning Institute - to include the CPE center,
3) Hillside-Goodsam sister church, &
4) spiritual technical exchange.

The nature of mission is that flexibility is a key, so allow this variety to entice you while knowing there could be adjustments.
