Serving With Each Other: BBQ and Mission Project With Related Agencies

North Georgia Annual Conference related agencies are coming together to host an afternoon of fun, service, and barbecue! The event will immediately follow the close of the Tuesday, June 11, afternoon session of Annual Conference and all members are needed and encouraged to attend. 

“Serving With Each Other,” will highlight our work together through our agencies and emphasize our conference theme. It will take place in the Athena Ballrooms. 
 
The event will include a service project for members to assemble simple outreach kits and an opportunity to spend time with leaders of our agencies, board members, and champions who carry out these vital ministries in our Conference. It will be a time to make a connection beyond the display table.
 
The project is being organized by Action Ministries and the simple outreach kits assembled at the event will be distributed to those in need by staff and volunteers of Action Ministries, Aldersgate Homes, Georgia United Methodist Foundation, Housing and Homeless Council, Murphy Harpst Children’s Center, United Methodist Connectional Federal Credit Union, Wellroot Family Services (United Methodist Children’s Home) and Wesley Woods. 
 
The conference-wide ministries of our related agencies help facilitate the oneness we pray for and express through our theme. We know that through hands-on service you will make deeper connections and make new friends with others in the North Georgia Annual Conference and with our agency partners.
