Seven United Methodist Clergy to Participate in 'The 7 Last Words of Christ'

On Good Friday, April 15, seven United Methodist clergy from the Douglasville area will participate in "The 7 Last Words of Christ" at 7 pm at Golden Memorial UMC. This shared service will also be live-streamed at www.goldenmemorialumc.org

 "We are so grateful to God for this kindred, connectional spirit we share among the churches in Douglasville," said Rev. Robert King, pastor of Golden Memorial. 

The participating clergy are Rev. Dr. Sam Newman of Midway in Douglasville, Rev. Orlando Evans of Bright Star, Rev. Genetha Rice-Singleton of Douglasville First, Rev. Scott Brown of Douglasville First, Tim Constien of New Covenant, and John Woods who serves Union Chapel, Bethel Tallapoosa, and Crawford Chapel UMCs, and King. 

"I am excited to join my Central West District/Douglasville connection at Golden Memorial United Methodist Church as we proclaim a message of ultimate sacrifice and divine love," said Rev. Orlando Evans of Bright Starr UMC. "Join us online as we worship!"
