Leaders of Habitat for Humanity - North Central Georgia have named Rev. Steve Napier, a deacon in the North Georgia Conference, as executive director, effective immediately. Napier joins Habitat for Humanity from Action Ministries where he was vice president of finance and administration.
Habitat for Humanity - North Central Georgia, which serves Cherokee, Dawson, Forsyth, and North Fulton counties, enables individuals to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. In this role, Napier directs and oversees administration, corporate relations, development, staffing, and volunteer programs.
"Habitat for Humanity - North Central Georgia has an impressive legacy of constructing over 300 new homes for low-income families," said Napier. "I am looking forward to helping people learn more about all that Habitat has to offer, including programs that provide home repairs to non-Habitat seniors and veterans and build tomorrow's leaders through our student engagement program."
The office is located on the campus of Roswell United Methodist Church.
Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit housing organization working in local communities across all 50 states in the U.S. and in approximately 70 countries.
"Habitat’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope," Napier said. "I welcome your prayers as I begin this new endeavor."
