Update from the Conference Board of Trustees

The Trustees of the North Georgia Conference of The United Methodist Church and Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church are engaged in a renewed effort to reach a just resolution of their dispute through negotiation and compromise. All parties are now optimistic that the civil litigation can be resolved.

Respectful of this process, we ask the members of our faith communities for their prayers, patience, and restraint from making comments or engaging in conduct inconsistent with the spirit of conciliation with which this effort is undertaken.
