Vital Signs Moving 'In House' to New NGUMC Dashboard

Our Conference IT director offers a "how to" instructional video for Vital Signs.
Vital Signs is becoming an in-house metric for the North Georgia Conference. In the past, local church Vital Signs have been reported to a United Methodist denomination platform, but in an effort to maximize efficiency, Vital Signs will transition to our conference Data Services.

The new reporting dashboard will be available July 1.

The new dashboard is a simple, weekly, four-question Vital Signs form. It is to be completed by the church pastor or their designee. Both pastor and designee will receive a weekly email as a reminder to report data. That email will now come from

"Once this transition has occurred, I think you will find it helpful and easy to complete," said Rev. Dr. Terry Walton, executive assistant to the bishop.

Vital Signs is a denomination-wide effort to help congregations follow their progress on goals that they set each year. This is a means to focus on fostering and sustaining an increase in the number of vital congregations effective in the mission of The United Methodist Church.
