Clergy are invited to hit the trails this fall with another series of hikes designed as a way to unplug from the day-to-day duties of ministry and plug into a sacred time of active rest as they connect with God in nature.
Beginning in October, there will be a series of six hikes for clergy to choose from over the next few months.
These hikes are made possible through a collaborative effort between NGUMC’s Center for Clergy Excellence, which hosts ACE (The Academy of Clergy Excellence), and North Georgia Camp and Retreat Ministries. This is our second time offering clergy hiking groups for our North Georgia UMC clergy. In January 2023, we hosted three different clergy hiking groups in the north, east, and southwest parts of the conference. Each group hosted four hikes with 20+ clergy participating in all.
