Warm Welcomes and Hot Cocoa Served in North Georgia

The numbers are in!

In December of 2017, The United Methodist Church went on a road trip to 16 states and 21 cities across the US, sharing the True Meaning of Christmas. More than 5,000 cups of hot cocoa were served!

The 19th stop on the tour was in Roswell, Georgia where members of the Chapel Roswell congregation, along with North Georgia Conference staff, offered hot cocoa and warm welcomes to passersby to visit a United Methodist Church.

By the end of the evening, 12 volunteers served 215 cups of cocoa, four cans of whipped topping, countless mini-marshmallow and abundant joy along with a message that the true meaning of Christmas isn't in busy-ness or presents, it's in sharing Christ's love with our neighbors.
