Juan Quintanilla

Dr. Juan Quintanilla was born in Monterrey,  Mexico. Juan worked as an agricultural engineer at National Institute of Research of Agriculture. From there, he was called to ministry. He received his Master of Divinity from the Asbury Theological Seminary in 1985, and his Doctorate in Ministry from Columbia Theological Seminary in 2008. He is a full elder in the North Georgia Conference of The United Methodist Church. For more than two decades he has served as chaplain, counselor, and church planter. He has served as Academic Dean and teacher at Juan Wesley Seminary in Mexico.

Now Juan serves as a consultant for the Office of Congregational Excellence in the North Georgia Conference. He is also an associate pastor at Norcross First UMC. Juan and his wife Laura have two sons. Daniel serves as a Director and Worship Leader at Roswell UMC and Josue works as case manager at Family First.
