Conference Mission Project--UMCOR School Kit Assembly

In some countries, children don’t have books or school supplies. Many have no schoolrooms and classes are held in inadequate buildings, tents or even the open air. UMCOR School Kits may be these children’s only educational resources. 

Conference members are invited to bring supplies and help assemble UMCOR school kits on Wednesday, June 13, 5:45 p.m., in Athena Room G&H. 

Please drop off supplies in the hall outside Athena Room G&H beginning Monday, June 11.

• blunt scissors
• 3 units of paper (150 sheets each)
• hand held pencil sharpener
• ruler
• 6 unsharpened pencils
• 2 /2 inch eraser
• 24 count box of crayons
• 14” x 16” cloth bag (home made or purchased bags of heavy duty fabric only, no advertisements, religious, patriotice, military or camouflage symbols please; closures are optional but must be buttons, snaps or Velcro sewn in middle of opening is used.)
